Todd is a 10 month old Patterdale Terrier who’s friendly, very excitable, very active and is mad as a box of frogs but that’s the Patterdale Terrier breed for you!
He will need an very active home with someone who can take him on long walks and provide plenty of metal stimulation to engage his brain and ideally someone who is familiar with the breed or has done breed research.
It seems that Todd hasn’t had any training what so ever and his manners are a little to be desired so he’ll need a family who has patience, will guide him and be willing to start from scratch all his basic training including housetraining to socialising him and getting him used to different situations and environments and socialisation around other dogs, Overtime we feel that with patience and training Todd will be a very social dog.
He can get worried when being left alone so he with need someone who will be home with him for most of the day initially, so his new owner can work with him to gradually be left alone.
We do have a resident dog behaviourist who will help and support you in his training if you are the successful applicant.
