Lady Florence arrived in our care as a stray.
She was very nervous of human touch and spent a while getting to know us and settling in to her new surroundings.
We do know she was born in 2015 as she is microchipped but her details where out of date and no one came to claim her.
Well we say their loss, as she has over come her shyness and has learned to trust again. Flo loves to run around the garden and roll down the banks. She is like a little whirl wind, it is great to watch the happiness in her face.
She will not tolerate being over handled as she is still learning to accept a fuss. Each day is big step for her, we are certain that being in the right home she will flourish at her own pace.
Flo is looking for quiet but active home. She would really like a country retreat to retire in with views of the fields and quiet country walks.
A busy life is not for her.
Training classes will help build confidence and adjust to her new life.
She could possibly be placed with older children 10+ who will respect her space. After a foster period with another dog, we realise that Florence will be best suited in a single-dog household.
Research and knowledge of the brachycephalic breed is essential.
If your application is successful you will be invited to meet Florence. If you do not hear anything within 7 days please assume that your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion. Due to the high volume of applications we receive we are unable to respond to everyone.
