Russell is an aproximately 2-3 year old French Bulldog who arrived in our care as an unclaimed stray, however, he is now ready to find his forever home.
He would be best suited to a home with someone who has good Brachycephalic knowledge or previous experience.
Due to his poor breeding, Russell does have excessive saliva production, however, this does not effect his overall ability to eat or his general health – he’s just a bit more dribbly than normal.
He will need someone dedicated to his daily skin upkeep and maintenance to keep him in good condition. This basically involves wiping his chin and neck a couple of times a day to wipe away excess dribble.
He would benefit from being enrolled on to training classes to help teach him good basic obedience and socialisation skills. This something we advise for all rescue dogs. It’s a great way to build bonds and get know each other.
Russell has a fun loving, quirky personality who adores attention and lots of effection.
Russel would prefer to be the only dog in the home as he needs to work on his manners meeting and greeting other dogs. He may be able to live with cats or sensible children 16+. This will be based on controlled introductions here at the centre.
