Merlin

Magical Merlin is a large lurcher cross who came to us as a stray found wandering on a beach. We’re not sure exactly what he is, but he sure will need a big sofa to cwtch up on! Merlin is around three years old and is a fairly independent lad who knows what he wanta from life – walks! He’d happily spend most of the day sniffing out new adventures with his new family before flopping down for a nap. His new family should be up for plenty of activity as Merlin loves to go-go-go!

Merlin can be a strong boy on the lead when he’s following his nose, but generally shows good manners passing other dogs. He may enjoy living with a neutered female friend, preferably of a similar size and nature. Introductions will be carried out at the centre to ensure a good match. Ideally at least one adult will be at home with him during the day, and we would recommend training classes to help him learn to settle by himself. He may be able to live with dog-savvy children who are 16+ respectful.
