Abraham is a crossbreed who we think is potentially a GSD X Golden Retriever. This poor boy has obviously been neglected in his past as he came to us very underweight and suffering from a skin condition. After a much-needed trip to the vets, Abraham has put on quite a bit of weight and is feeling much better. His skin and coat are still on the mend but this is being managed with medication and will surely be back to normal soon.
Abraham seems to have some sort of spinal issue that is currently being observed by our vet. He is still able to go for walks and is happy to do gentle games of fetch, but he most likely won’t be a suitable hiking buddy. He is taking pain management at the moment while our vet assesses his situation.
Due to his medical issues, Abraham will be able to go to his new home on a medical foster basis for the time being. Once our vet signs him off as fit and healthy, he can be fully rehomed.
Despite all this, Abraham is still a happy boy who loves a good tennis ball. He can be a little worried of new people at first but quickly warms up when a treat is on offer. He could potentially live with other neutered dogs or a cat depending on introductions at the centre.
If your application is successful you will be invited to meet Abraham. If you do not hear anything within 7 days please assume that your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion. Due to the high volume of applications we receive we are unable to respond to everyone.
