Meet our scrumptious Crumpet, a 2 year old bull-breed mix who was found tied to a lamppost in a busy street and left alone. She’s clearly spent her whole life used for puppies and had been dumped after some cruel breeder had no more use for her. Understandably Crumpet took some time to take in her surroundings and trust new people, but has come right out of her shell and is ready to start her new chapter as somebody’s princess.
Crumpet absolutely loves life and all the good things that come with it – food, toys, people, and shredding sticks! She would benefit from a home that has some understanding of bull-breed mannerisms as she doesn’t quite understand when to put the brakes on when she plays. Because of this, Crumpet could only be placed with dog-savvy children aged 8+ lest any smaller children become bowling pins! Despite this, Crumpet is always eager to please, especially when treats are involved. This would make her a top student in a doggy classroom and we would definitely recommend enrolling her in a good training program.
Crumpet shows good manners passing dogs at the centre and could possibly live with one. We think she would be best matched to a neutered male bull-breed with similar energy levels. Applicants with resident dogs should be prepared to do multiple introductions at the centre and be confident managing bull-breed playstyles. Unfortunately Crumpet cannot live with cats.
