Meet the lovely 2 year old Frenchie , Bourbon. This gorgeous girl came to us as a stray, she was very skinny and scared when she arrived . Bourbon has taken a little while to come out her shell. Upon arriving at her vet check it was noted that Bourbon needed BOAS surgery to help her be able to breathe properly, she has now had this surgery and is recovering well. Unfortunately this is extremely common and we are seeing it very regularly with frenchies at the hotel.
Bourbon is coming out her shell more and more every day and has a lovely little personality, she enjoys sitting in your lap for strokes and having a potter around the sensory garden. Bourbon is quite nervous of the outside world and enjoys home comforts , she will need owners that can help her gain confidence on walks. Once you have gained her trust she is the most loving girl who loves to play .
Bourbon would benefit from living with a resident dog, to help bring out her confidence, this will be based on slow introductions done at the centre & dog savvy children that understand she will need some time to trust. Bourbon is not suitable to live with small furries. She will need to attend training classes to help her gain confidence & learn doggie and people socialisation skills .
