Madame

Madame by name madame by nature, this 2 year old sassy sausage has a lot of love to give! Madame was signed over to us by her owner who could no longer look after her anymore. This little lady is really struggling in kennel life and wants a family that she can call her own forever.

Madame will need some time to meet her new owners, she can be nervous when approached by strangers. She uses her big dachshund bark to warn people to stay back! With some treats and patience she warms up to you, once she has gained your trust she is the most loving girl. She likes to curl up on your shoulder for cuddles & play with her favourite toys ! And don’t be fooled by the little legs, madame loves her walks and would like a pal to go on strolls with her, her favourite thing is to use her long nose to sniff out good smells ! She would benefit from enrichment like scent games to help fulfil her daxie needs.

Madame has shown some guarding when in her safe space (her bed) , she will need owners that can give her her own space to nap and give her love, training and time to understand that people aren’t going to take this  from her.

Madame could possibly live with cats and a resident neutered male dog, she is not suitable to live with children. She will need to attend training classes to help her feel more confident in this big wide world !
