Meet newbie Gimli, the precious little fluffy Frenchie. Gimli came into our care as he was found straying by a member of the public . Gimli was very worried upon arrival but with lots of love and attention from our staff and volunteers he is learning that the big wide world isn’t so scary .
Gimli is a handsome little fella , he loves nothing more than human attention off his loved ones and his favourite thing is an ear scratch. He is still learning how to be confident on his daily walks, the outside world is a scary place and he is unsure of it all at the moment. That being said, he’s had some super fun outings with our volunteers and has shown great settling skills when out and about, he loves a good lie down! His new owners will need to take time & training to teach him that the outdoors is fun!
Gimli likes to watch his fellow canines and learn from their actions , we believe he would thrive in a home with a calm , natured resident dog to help his confidence grow!
Gimli’s owners will need to be around most of the time so they can cater to his training and settling in for the time being. They will need to take him to training classes so he can learn socialisation skills. His fluffy coat will need regular grooming to keep up with his luscious locks!
Gimli could possibly live with cats and children of all ages depending on introductions done at the centre.
