This little happy chap is the gorgeous Terri the Plumber terrier. Terri came into our care as a stray, he was very timid and confused . Terri is now looking for a forever home where he can gain his confidence back and learn how to thrive and be the bouncy little terrier he should be!
Terri finds his confidence with other dogs, he really loves playing with his doggie pals & you can see that he is more confident around people when he sees the other dogs being fussed too. We believe that he would benefit from living with another neutered resident dog , depending on introductions done at the centre.
Terri loves his long walks, he would be a great buddy for someone who likes to go on long hikes and explores. He would prefer to live somewhere quiet as he can be quite worried of things that zoom past him (bikes, cars etc)! Terri will need to attend training classes to work on his confidence around these things & his general life skills.
Terri is a little unsure of human affection at the moment, although he does enjoy a cuddle once he knows you he can be wary at first. He will need owners who can take the time to gain his trust and build positive associations with touch so that he feels safe around you.
He could possibly live with calm children 14+ that are respectful of his space depending on intros done at the centre.
