Kaiser is Shar Pei cross Staffie boy, and we think he’s around 3 years old. He’s an incredibly happy lad, and seems to adore human company. He’s a little tubby (sorry Kaiser!) and will be looking to go on a bit of a diet, combined with long walks, which he actually might enjoy more than cuddles, but he’s still thinking about that!
Kaiser might be suitable to live with teenage children (13+) and will need an active family to ensure he gets the exercise he needs. We don’t know how Kaiser will feel about being left by himself, but the breed has a tendency to dislike it, so a home where he is only left for short periods (or not at all) would be preferred for him.
Shar Peis have a bit of a reputation for being hard to train, but this guy loves to learn. He has ‘sit’ and ‘down’ mastered, and we’re sure he may know a few other tricks; but these may include things like making your food disappear when you’re not watching (that would explain the weight eh Kaiser?). On a serious note, if you have a passion for training, or if you’d be interested in getting involved with agility or any other dog sports, Kaiser may just be the perfect companion.
