Please say hello to Red. The hairy floof arrived in our care as a stray.
We think he is approximately 2-4 years old, he is so playful.
When Red arrived in our care he was understandably very confused and found it hard to trust humans. The staff spent a long time working on his confidence and helping him to associate humans as friends. He can still be a little bit wary with new humans on frist meet.
It was clear he had not had much lead training, so this was introduced to him at slow and steady pace. It certainly paid off as he now gets so excited to go out exploring.
Red will require a home who have a good knowledge of his breed, he could potentially live a neutered female dog who is the same sort of size and energy levels. He will need time to get to know his new humans and will need multiple introductions to help build a bond.
He would also benefit from training classes to help with dog socialising skills and basic share skills. Unfortunately we will not be able to consider family’s or frist time dog owners for Red.
