Please say hello to Kai.
This handsome fellow is approximately 7 years old and came in to our care due a bereavement.
Kai has adjusted well to his new surroundings and humans. He is very well manned and adores everyone he meets. His favourite thing of all is chewing up tennis ball’s.
At the moment this gentle giant is a weight loss program and is he progressing very well.
kai will need an adult only home where he is the only pet.
At the moment Kai is on medication for a sore ear. We have been told this is something that he seems to suffer with from time to time, so future owners will need consider this when applying.
Once Kai is at his ideal weight he will be an active boy and will require new adventures.
Here is what Kai foster auntie had to say about the time they have been spending together ❤
Hi there, Kai here.I thought you’d like to hear how I’m getting on….
I have a new super slim figure, I’ve lost loads of weight and have been getting more and more exercise every day (OK, there are still quite a few pounds to go, but I’ve been So Good).I like a nice long walk in the morning, my favourite places are Porthkerry and Cosmeston lakes because there are lots of streams for me to jump in, oodles of good smells.
When I get home it’s time for a bit of chewing toys on my sofa and a nice midday snooze. Later on we go out for another good walk, perhaps up to the chains on Grangemoor so I can play King of the Hill. The person I am staying with has lots of visitors and I make sure they are all greeted and given the Kai seal of approval, some of them are very small and make a point of coming just to stroke me.
During the day I have quite a few little wanders around the immediate neighbourhood and like to check the local cats are behaving themselves, occasionally pretending to chase one of them and barking at them.
After supper I like to play and chew more of my toys on my own sofa, then perhaps climb up with my person to snooze in front of the TV until bedtime. After all that excitement I am exhausted and sleep on my bed right through the night.
I am feeling really well and bouncy now and am more than ready to take on a new home and show my new people what a delightfully good boy I am.
Kai must muzzled for walks but he takes it all in his stride and loves to be out exploring.
