Blue

This is Blue, the gorgeous 9-year-old Kerry blue terrier. He’s an older boy looking for his perfect retirement home with someone who has a zest for life like him. He may be blind but this doesn’t affect his ability to enjoy life. Blue is a sweet dog who loves to play and walk. He loves to sniff the air and everything around him. His nose and hearing are on top form.

He will require regular visits to the grooming salon to help with maintenance on his coat.

We feel due to being blind a home with older calm children may be ideal for him. Small children would be to busy for him, and may course him to be startled.

When he arrived in our care we noticed Blue had some medical needs. Blue is currently on antibiotics for a small cyst like lump on his back which may need to be surgically removed if its doesn’t clear up after his course. He is also on eye drops.
