Middle aged poodle cross Matty arrived in our care after being found wondering the streets. He was very matted and had very sore ears.

His has since had hair cut and his ears have started treatment which will be ongoing for the near future.

He could possibly live with other neutered animals.

This is all based on introductions.

Any potential applicants will need to be aware of the maintenance of his coat and ears. This will involve regular grooming visits which will cost approximately £30-£50 every 6 weeks. Obviously all groomers have different rates, and groomers will need to be prepared for his unsettled behaviours.

Matty will need an adult only home who have experience in handling dogs. Matty will need time and patience as close handling is something he struggles with. He has shown aggressive behaviours when being groomed and having his ear treatment applied. We do understand that this something that he will need alot of confidence building with and over time he will adjust.
