HONEY HAS STRICT REHOMING REQUIREMENTS. PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE READ AND MEET HER REQUIREMENTS BEFORE APPLYING.
Honey is 2 year old Spaniel who arrived in our care as her owners were no longer able to care for her. She has missed out on a lot of confidence building and is very nervous with new people. She has been at the centre for a few months while she builds her confidence.
Honey is a shy girl and takes time to get to know new people, however once she feels comfortable she showers you with affection.
Honey could potentially live with another dog of similar energy levels, however she will need a quiet and calm home.
She will need multiple slow introductions at the centre to become comfortable with her new humans. She needs a home with experience of nervous dogs.
Honey will not be placed with children of any age. Please do not apply if you have children or any visiting children that will interact with Honey.
Honey has been in foster with a number of other dogs and enjoyed her time there. She does not like to be left alone and will need a home where there is always someone home initially to help her settle.
Honey has been seen by our vet who has explained that she has hind luxating patellas. We have decided that she will not have surgery for this while at the home as she will find the recovery far too stressful. Instead, we are looking to place her into her forever home to give her time to settle before performing any surgery. This is to avoid any unnecessary stress on Honey. The procedure for this will be explained to potential adopters.
Honey loves to swim, she is at her happiest having a paddle or diving in.
All she is asking for is a chance. Just because she has been let down in the past should not define her future. She is dog social, she loves to walk and explore, she is need of some extra tlc to help her over come her anixity. The more input thats gets put in the more she will achieve.
Honey is a special girl, she deserves a special home to call her own and keep her safe 💓
