Hello, I'm Myka

Myka, the stunning girl, came into our care as a stray with no owner to claim her. She is approximately 3 years old.

Now, she is ready to find her forever home. Myka is seeking a peaceful and loving environment where she can unwind. Given her adjustment period, we believe a home with adults only would be most suitable for her. Once comfortable, she is a true sweetheart. Myka will need time to build trust and adapt to new surroundings and noises. She has been enjoying her walks and is becoming more relaxed.

As with all new rescue dogs, we strongly recommend enrolling Myka in a training class to enhance her socialization skills with both humans and other dogs.

Myka dreams of being the sole princess in her new home.

Having been in foster care for a few months, Myka is thriving. She is quite amusing and always greets her foster parents with a gift, whether it’s a toy or a doorstop. Myka proudly parades around to show it off. She loves being tucked in at night and is happiest when sleeping or rolling around in the field.

Myka is making remarkable progress with her socialising skills, her training will need to be continuous to help build her confidence each day.

Myka is also muzzled trained, crate trained and is happy to be left alone for periods throughout the day. Shw is very good and is able to keep herself amused with playing and snoozing.

She has recently had surgery to her knees to better her quality of life. Myka is recovering well.

We think Myka deserves the chance to be loved, she just needs humans who are committed. Myka will require multiple introductions at the centre with her new humans and she require someone who is  knowledgeable with similar behaviour backgrounds.
