This gentle soul is Skunk, an aproxinately 4 year old Bulldog who arrived in our care in a sorry state however, he is now ready to find his forever home.

On arrival, Skunks whole body was covered in painful sores and scabs, his face folds were extremely sore with smelly bacterial build up. Since being in our care and a visit to our vet, he has now started treatment and is beginning to feel much better in himself after receiving the TLC he desperately needed from his carers.

Despite being so horribly neglected by his previous owners, Skunk has such a lovely nature. His confidence has been gradually growing and his goofy Bulldog personality has started to shine.

Skunk walks well on the lead, enjoys going on adventures with his new volunteer friends and receiving affection and attention.

This being the case, we feel Skunk would be best suited to a home with patient people who have good knowledge or previous experience of owning Bulldogs.

He currently requires meditated baths, ear drops and daily face washes therefore, they will need to be committed to the daily upkeep and maintenance of his skin and face folds so that he is kept healthy and happy.

Skunk could possibly live with resident neutered dogs of similar size and temprement, sensible children who will be respectful of his space and dog savvy cats. This will all be based on controlled introductions here at the centre.

If you have a love the breed and room on you’re sofa, Skunk is happy to fill it.
