Winnie is a 3–4 year old Jack Russell who sadly found herself back in our care through no fault of her own.
When she first arrived, Winnie was a calm and confident girl who took everything in her stride. Over time, she’s developed a little anxiety around other dogs, but with the help of our behaviour team she’s making great progress and slowly regaining her confidence.
She could potentially live with large, calm canine friend who is willing to give her space.
At heart, Winnie is still the same happy-go-lucky little lady who loves her adventures and exploring. She has the sweetest, most loving temperament and is now looking for an understanding home where she can continue to flourish at her own pace.
Winnie’s ideal people will be patient, committed to following her training plan, and ready to help her return to being the calm, collected girl she once was. She’ll thrive with an active family who enjoy the outdoors and are willing to give her plenty of love and encouragement (no couch potatoes, please!).
She would also benefit from attending classes and may really enjoy trying her paw at a fun doggy sport like agility.
If you’re active, loving, and ready to commit — Winnie is your girl!
