Sweetums is the sweetest little spaniel pup you could ever meet. She came into our care after being abandoned at a vets by the humans who where supposed to keep her safe, she was severely injured and in need of emergency veterinary attention. Sadly, her leg couldn’t be saved and she required an amputation, but that hasn’t held her back one bit!
Now safe in foster care, Sweetums is thriving — full of energy, playful, and always ready for a cuddle. She’s been showing brilliant social skills with other dogs, and we’d love to find her a home with a friendly canine companion who can help show her the ropes as she grows in confidence.
Sweetums is a bright, bouncy spaniel pup who will benefit from puppy classes and an owner committed to keeping her clever mind active and engaged. As she grows, it will be important for her family to maintain a healthy weight and balanced level of exercise to support her long-term comfort living on three legs.
She’s looking for an active family home that enjoys adventures and truly appreciates the wonderful spaniel spirit. Sweetums could live with dogs, cats, or children given the right introductions.
This brave, loving girl has already overcome so much — now she’s ready to begin her next chapter with a family who will cherish her.
