Introducing our handsome lurcher boy , Henry! Henry was brought into our care after he was found roaming round the streets- we unfortunately had reports of someone seeing him be dumped out of a moving van. When Henry arrived in our care he had a broken tail that was causing him pain- luckily our vet performed a partial amputation and he is now back to being happy as Larry!
Henry is such a loving boy in true lurcher style. He has spent some time in a home and absolutely loves to cuddle up on the sofa next to his humans for some love . He is great out on walks with our volunteers and loves to go for big adventures , exploring all the smells of the world.
Henry has spent some time with dogs in our care and was a very good boy, he is more inclined to have female friends and can be a little wary of small dogs but loves to play once he gets to know his pals. He could potentially live with a female dog of a similar size and temperament . Henry has shown some signs of separation anxiety so will need a carer that is home most of the time.
He would love a family that likes long adventures and hikes that end in cuddling up in front the Tv. It would be beneficial to take Henry to training classes to help him transition into his new life. Henry is a keen squirrel/small furry watcher so is unsuitable to live with cats. He could potentially live with children of any age depending on intros done at the centre .
