Meet Belle
Belle is a beautiful 8-and-a-half-year-old French Bulldog with a petite frame and the biggest heart. She came into our care after her previous owners realised they couldn’t meet her needs, despite having her only a short time.
Belle is dog-social and could potentially live with a calm canine companion who won’t jump all over her. She has a slight wonk to her back legs, but it doesn’t slow her down at all—she gets around perfectly well and isn’t in any pain.
She adores a gentle potter and, once she gets going, there’s no stopping her! Belle loves a good sniff and is very partial to a treat (or three!). She can be a fussy eater and currently only enjoys a specific chicken-based food called Encore, though she’s happily not fussy when it comes to treats.
Cuddles are an essential part of Belle’s day. She has a very sweet way of letting you know she wants more attention—by gently tapping you with her paw.
If you’re searching for a loyal, affectionate companion, Belle is your girl. She is easy-going, sweet-natured, and would be happy in a calm home. She could potentially live with respectful, gentle children who understand she’s in her twilight years and prefers a quieter lifestyle.
We would also be happy to cat-test her for homes with resident felines.
Knowledge of the brachycephalic breed would be good.
