Milo
Milo is a mature gentleman who arrived in our care due to no fault of his own. He is approximately 9-10 years old with the energy of a puppy. He is a staffie mix.
Milo is a confident man and likes to take the lead on walks. He knows exactly where he wants to go and follows his nose. He could do with a little guidance on his lead manners as he is strong boy. Learning loose lead walking is a must for this enthusiastic boy.
Understandably Milo was a little worried when he first arrived with us, he has since settled in and has been enjoying his new daily adventures and meeting our wonderful volunteers.
Milo can get overexcited easily when off lead so, he has been working on his calming skills with our behaviour team and also brushing up on his dog socialisation skills
He is progressing well and very much liked his female stooge companion Dumpling.
We do feel milo will settle better in an animal free home, he could definitely have some calm walking companions to keep him company.
Once he has settled in your presence milo is very affectionate, in true staffie style he will show you love by sitting on your foot or offering his bum for scratches (his favourite).
Milo deserves to enjoy his life at his age. He should be back with home comforts of snoozing the day away after his daily outings.
Milo would benefit from basic training classes to make sure he maintains his learnt skills and progress further learning new things.
Milo is looking for an adult only home where he is able to adjust at his own pace.

Milo is a wearing a nervous collar as on arrival he was a worried boy and required space.
He is progressing well making new friends and settling in, his collar will be upgraded soon 😊
