Introducing beautiful Belinda-Jane! Belinda is likely a dachshund x chihuahua and is around 8 months old. Belinda-Jane was brought into our care as an unchipped stray and was never claimed, so she is now looking for her forever home
Belinda was understandably very scared when she first arrived , she would sit in the corner of the room and tremble, but would enjoy a gentle fuss off her trusted friends. Now Belinda is settling in she is becoming a different dog, she takes a minute to come around to people but then shows you her Daxie/chi side and starts getting crazy zoomies and playing like mad
Belinda can still find the outside world quite overwhelming and will sometimes refuse to walk if she is scared. Our lovely volunteers have been helping her with this and she is slowly but surely gaining some confidence out and about! We are sure that in no time she will be the confident little girl that a Daxie cross should be. Since arriving Belinda has been neutered ad had her dew claws removed. She is recovery well and enjoying the quiet time.
Belinda could potentially live with children 12+, cats and dogs depending on intros done at the centre.
