Maisy – 3 Year Old Terrier Girl
Maisy is a 3-year-old terrier type girl who arrived in our care as a stray, being underweight with sore skin to her head and body. Maisy is doing much better now after having a medicated cream applied daily to her sore patches and a good diet.
She is an absolute bundle of beans – happy, sprightly and full of life. Maisy loves everyone she meets and enjoys the company of both people and other dogs. She has a bright, playful personality and is always ready for fuss, treats, toys and adventures.
Maisy arrived limping on her back leg, x-tays have shown slight arthritis, it doesn’t slow her down very much at all and she has already started to make better use of it since arriving with us. Bearing this in mind she will need monitored throughout her life and given supplements to support her joints and veterinary advice when needed.
we would love to find the perfect home for Maisy – a family who can support her on this new journey and be there for her while we learn more about her leg. Her adopters will need to be understanding and prepared to help her recover if any additional care is needed.
Maisy is a very lucky girl to have found her way to us and is now looking forward to a bright and happy future.
Maisy could potentially live with children of all ages, as well as other neutered dogs. She may also be able to live with resident cats, pending careful introductions.
Maisy would benefit from attending training classes to help build a strong bond with her new family and continue her learning. All introductions to family members and resident pets will be carried out at our centre.
We believe Maisy may be a Yorkshire Terrier / Border Terrier / Jack Russell type mix, giving her that classic terrier spark and charm.
Maisy is a joyful little girl who just needs the right home, love and guidance to help her thrive and live the happy life she deserves.
She is looking for a semi active home as she loves exploring and will need to take cuddle breaks in between adventures.
