Introducing our newest bundle of fun , Seann Walsh ! Seann arrived in our care as an unchipped stray and was never claimed, so he is now looking for his forever home . Seann is around 8 months old and is a stunning Rottweiler.
Seann is such a happy go lucky boy , he has a zest for life that only little puppies do… he enjoys going on long walks with our volunteers and has recently had a day out to castell coch where he was a very good boy! He has also spent some time at collar club , where we expected him to have crazy zoomies but he actually loved just walking by his friends side and having cwtches over anything else.
Seann has shown some lower level resource guarding behaviours towards his food bowl that could escalate if not worked on and managed properly. His new owners will need to work on this with him.
Seann has had a play date with Ronnie the mastiff cross and was an absolute angel, he’s an excited puppy that wants to play but he also walks along nicely with him and listens to cues from the other dog well , he could potentially live with another dog based on intros done at the centre. Being a Rottweiler Seann has a lot of energy and his new owners will need to be able to fulfil his needs properly to create a happy , well socialised adult dog- he will need to attend training classes to build on life skills and would potentially enjoy some sort of dog sport too!
Seann is currently looking for an adult only home and could potentially live with cats too depending on intros done at the centre.
