Baby Guinness is a working Collie puppy, approximately 5–6 months old, who arrived in our care as a stray.
He is an incredibly sweet and intelligent young boy. He can be a little unsure around unfamiliar faces at first, but his confidence is growing every day. He has been enjoying time out with our walkers, going on little adventures, exploring the world, and meeting new people.
Affectionately known as “Baby G,” he has been spending time in the office with staff where he has shown lovely manners and a playful nature. He is currently using puppy pads and is also learning to toilet outside during walks.
Baby G is already showing how clever he is, as he knows basic commands such as sit, spin, down, and wait. He also has a very affectionate side and loves a cuddle, often jumping straight into your lap for some fuss.
As a working Collie, he will need an active home that understands and appreciates the breed. His new family should be committed to continuing his training and providing both mental and physical stimulation as he grows, potentially through activities or dog sports.
He is looking for a calm and patient home where he can continue to build his confidence at his own pace. An active family is essential—this boy is definitely not suited to a sedentary lifestyle.
Baby G could potentially live with children, although this will be assessed by staff to ensure the right match for both him and his new family. He may also benefit from living with another dog who can help show him the ropes, and dog-savvy cats could be considered, all depending on successful introductions.
