Malibu is a French Bulldog, approximately 2-3 years old, who arrived in our care as a stray and was sadly never claimed. Despite this, she has remained a very sweet and gentle little lady with so much love to give.
She is now looking for her forever home where she can finally feel safe, loved, and truly part of a family. Malibu would thrive with adopters who will cherish her, give her plenty of affection, and help her continue to settle into home life.
Malibu is very playful and so much fun to be around. She walks well on the lead and travels nicely in the car, making her a great companion for day-to-day life and little adventures.
She could potentially live with children, other calm dogs, and even cats, all based on sensible introductions.
As a brachycephalic (flat-faced) breed, Malibu will need an understanding home committed to her specific needs. This includes being mindful in warm weather, avoiding overexertion, monitoring her breathing, and keeping on top of any skin fold care to ensure she remains comfortable and healthy.
At present, Malibu is experiencing a phantom pregnancy and is under close veterinary monitoring. Advice regarding spaying will be provided once this has resolved.
Malibu can meet her potential new family, provided they are happy to wait, follow veterinary advice, and understand that she can only be officially adopted once she has been signed off by the vet. Until then, regular visits to the centre will be needed to help build a bond with her.
Training classes are always advised to help build a strong bond and continue learning together.
With her affectionate nature, playful spirit, and kind personality, Malibu is sure to make a wonderful companion in the right home.
