Please welcome Spot and Flossy to the hotel!
This dynamic duo are approximately 2–3 years old and arrived in our care after their previous home was unable to meet their full potential.
We are very aware that both Spot and Flossy have lived the life of working Patterdales. Because of this, they will require a full working-style lifestyle to ensure all their needs are met. They are looking for experienced, active homes with owners who can offer them a purpose and a job to keep their busy minds fulfilled.
Both Spot and Flossy are energetic, friendly, and full of life. They love being out and about, enjoy their walks, and are always ready for their next adventure. Sitting still is not their style—these two much prefer being on the go and using their brains as well as their legs.
Spot has a particularly entertaining quirk: when he catches an interesting scent, he pops up onto his hind legs to investigate further—a brilliant reminder of just how switched-on and scent-driven he is!
Flossy loves attention and will happily jump up for cuddles, soaking up all the fuss before heading straight back to her next scent-tracking mission.
Spot and Flossy can be rehomed together or separately into suitable homes. Both would benefit from training classes and would thrive with a job to do, such as scent work or agility, to help fulfil their natural instincts and keep them mentally satisfied.
They could live with sensible children who are used to high-energy dogs and understand how to interact respectfully. However, they cannot live with cats or small furries due to their strong prey drive.
All introductions will be carried out at the centre with potential adopters to ensure the best possible match for both dogs.
We are looking for experienced, active homes that understand working terriers and can provide the structure, stimulation, and commitment that Spot and Flossy need to truly thrive.

If your application is successful you will be invited to meet Spot & Flossy. If you do not hear anything within 7 days please assume that your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion. Due to the high volume of applications we receive we are unable to respond to everyone.
