Please welcome the gorgeous Hendrix to the hotel!
Hendrix is an approximately 4 year old Bulldog who came into our care after his previous owner sadly had a change in circumstances.
When Hendrix first arrived, he was understandably nervous and unsure of his new surroundings. He spent his first few days feeling quite overwhelmed, but with patience, kindness and plenty of TLC, he has really started to come out of his shell.
Hendrix has also enjoyed some time in foster and has proved to be the perfect little house guest!
His foster family describe him as a funny, affectionate little character who loves nothing more than being in the same room as you. He is surprisingly polite when you’re eating, choosing to simply sit and give you those big, hopeful eyes! If he thinks dinner is taking too long, he’ll politely paw at his empty bowl and give you a little huff to remind you he’s there.
And his sleepy face is just too adorable!
Hendrix isn’t looking for a family who wants to take him on long adventures. His breathing means shorter walks are much more suitable, but he absolutely enjoys a little mooch, stopping to sniff and explore at his own pace. Give him a garden, though, and you may see his cheeky side come out with a few enthusiastic zoomies!
After his little adventures, Hendrix is happiest relaxing alongside his people and enjoying plenty of cuddles.
As a Bulldog, his breathing will need to be monitored, particularly during warmer weather and exercise. His new family will also need to keep up with his facial fold and skin care to help keep him comfortable and healthy.
Hendrix would love a home with someone who understands Bulldogs and can give him the time, patience, care and affection he deserves.
He could potentially live with sensible older children, a neutered resident dog and dog savvy cats, subject to successful introductions here at the centre.
This lovely boy has already shown us what a wonderful companion he can be. Now he just needs someone to see what we see in him and give him the forever home he deserves.
Could you be Hendrix’s happily ever after?
