Say hello to the gorgeous Jasper the border collie. Jasper has unfortunately been brought back to our care due to a change in circumstances.
Jasper is such a sweet boy, he is everything a collie person loves… energetic , intelligent, loving and will do anything for his person! When Jasper was first with us he struggled with dog & traffic reactive , however his previous owner has put lots of work into this and these reactions are fair and few . He loves having dog friends, even if he barks a little to let them know that! Jasper has been taught recall and responds very well, but his new owners will need to build a bond with him first before letting him off the lead.
Jasper is fine with being left alone for around 3 hours , he has not been left for much longer. He currently travels in a covered crate in the car as he can find travelling somewhat stressful, but again this has improved massively. Jasper absolutely loves people, he will greet you with a wiggly bum and a big cuddle . Jasper is looking for an active home that will commit to his collie needs, he would love to go on long hikes or even take up a sport to keep his brain busy. He would benefit from having another dog in the home to play with and show him the ropes but is currently looking for a child and feline free home for the time being.
