Brave

This handsome boy is Brave. He is a young Bulldog cross who is approximately 3 years old.

He arrived in our care as a stray, Brave was in need of some veterinary care and alot of TLC.

Brave took some time to adjust to his new surroundings, once he felt safe he was able to show us that he is the sweetest little boy who just wants to be loved.

His quirky temperament and playful nature are now shining through. Brave still struggles with exploring new areas, his confidence is growing daily.

Our veterinary team made the decision to remove Brave’s eye due to pain and discomfort. The damage caused from neglect was so severe. His other eye will require surgery to correct his cherry eye and he will require a lubricant gel to be applied in his remaining eye continuously throughout his life.

Brave his healing well and is good boy when his medication is applied.

Brave is looking for a home to call his own. He will require on going training to help build his confidence. Brave shows positive interaction with other neutered canines and would probably benefit from living with another neutered dog.

He could potentially live with children who are respectful of his space and resident felines.

All introductions will be carried out at the dogs home.
