Introducing this handsome hunk of a pocket bully boy, Watson! Mr Watson was sadly brought into our care as a fake stray along with another dog. He is really worried about his surroundings and is missing home life. It’s clear that Watson hasn’t been treated well in his past life , he can find hands very concerning and will cower and flinch if they are lifted at all. However he is a big softy & We are all working hard to teach him that hands are a happy thing that are only used for fusses and love now which he is learning step-by-step & likes to enjoy a gentle scratch under his chin. He has even been asking for some more fusses if you stop which is a great improvement! Watson is 2 years old.
Watson loves to go on walks and is great with other dogs , he passes them with no problem and enjoys his strolls with his pal Hailey too- he would be a great adventure Buddy. Watson can be worried about loud noises and his owners will need to be committed and consistent with his confidence building and training to get him back to the bright and bouncy boy he should be . Watson unfortunately is suffering with bilateral entropion which makes it quite hard to see, this will not be helping with his worries and we hope that once this is sorted he will have another new lease of life!
Watson would be perfect for any bull breed lover that likes their walks and loves their snuggles on the sofa ! He could potentially live with a confident neutered dog , cats and children 16+ that are sensible around worried dogs- all depending on intros done at the centre.
