Introducing our beautiful bully girl , Portia ! She approximately 4-5 years old.
Portia came into our care as a fake stray, but she doesn’t let that get to her… she is still happy as Larry and looking for her new forever home.
Portia is the most loving girl, she absolutely loves her humans and adores affection from them. She does however think she is a lap dog (in true bully style) and will climb into your lap for cuddles and scratches, so her new owner will have to be ready to give up their personal space! Portia has shown interest in interacting with other dogs and passes them well on walks, she could potentially live with a neutered male dog of a similar size. Portia absolutely loves her walks with our volunteers, she likes to go for big hikes with lots of stops for cwtches!
Unfortunately when Portia arrived in our care it was clear she had been bred from and had her ears cruelly hacked off for the aesthetics… Portias ears were in such a terrible state that they were red and bleeding. They have now been treated and she is feeling a lot better! Ongoing ear cleaning will needed to keep her ears free from bacteria. Being a dilute colour her new owners should be aware that she may have skin issues in the future , she is being fed a fish based diet and has been doing well on this with no new issues seen!
Portia is a pure bundle of love and bully play, she is looking for a bull breed experienced home so that she has the fulfilment the breed requires and she could also potentially live with children 5+ and cats depending on intros done at the centre.
