Please welcome to the hotel our newest resident Gus Gus, an aproxinately 8 year old Pomeranian who arrived in our care as a stray however, he is now ready to find his forever home.
Gus has taken kennel life in his stride and has shown to be a very confident boy who adores affection from his carers, playing with his toys in the sensory garden and going on adventures with his new volunteer friends.
Gus has shown to have lovely social skills and is also a very smart boy who knows his basic commands as well a some tricks.
Gus gus has some guarding behaviours when he was spending time the office, he found a space under the desk and didn’t want to leave. We would advise that Gus has some lessons with a dog behaviourist to help him over come this and see that sharing is caring.
Based on this it may be an idea that in his new home he has a safe place to himself tuck away from passing feet, something like an open crate full of comfy bedding and his toys.
This being the case, we feel Gus would be best suited to an active home with a family who will keep him both physically amd mentally stimulated and who will also be commited to his daily grooming and maintenance to ensure that he is kept happy and healthy.
Gus could possibly live with a neutered, resident dog and dog savvy cats. This will all be based on controlled introductions done here at the centre.
Gus gus is a must for pomeranian lovers, Ones who understand the breed. Humans who are able to keep his beautiful coat maintained and help him become the best boy he can be.
Everyone needs a helping hand now and again. Could you be his?
