Say hello to long legged bull lurcher boy, Bolt!
Bolt was brought into our care as a stray so we don’t know much about his past. We believe he is around 10months- 1 year old.
Bolt is your typical bull lurcher , full of beans! But the perfect gentleman that loves fuss off his humans too. He can be a little nervous of new things but recovers quickly and is gaining confidence day by day. He loves his super crazy lurcher zoomies and playing with his flirt pole too. He also thinks he’s a lap dog and will sit in your lap for cuddles. Bolt is such a smart boy and will take to positive reinforcement training very well, he’s a big foodie !! Bolt isn’t bothered by the rain and loves a soggy walk , however he’s not the biggest fan of puddles (who is?!)
Bolt is sometimes reactive to other dogs; we believe this is fear reactivity and we have started to work on this with him, he’s been able to disengage and play some games whilst around dogs at the centre and it’s been going well! Now he has settled in, on walks our volunteers are able to walk past other dogs at a distance with no issue. With the right training & confidence boosting we believe bolt will flourish at continuing his training and hopefully he will learn that doggies aren’t scary and can have some friends in the future too.
Bolt is currently looking for a pet free home , he could live with children 16+ depending on intros done at the centre .

If your application is successful you will be invited to meet Bolt. If you do not hear anything within 7 days please assume that your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion. Due to the high volume of applications we receive we are unable to respond to everyone.
