Hello, I'm Bolt

Hi! I’m Bolt and I’ve been at the centre for around 4 months now and I’ve had absolutely no applications 💔 I’m not really sure why , I’m a lovely boy . So I thought I’d give you a little bit of info about me :

✅ I absolutely love long walks

✅ Humans are my favourite

✅ I LOVE cuddles

✅ I’m not bothered about squirrels , birds or any small furries out and about

✅ I know lots of things like : Sit, Paw, touch and some pattern games

✅ I’m VERY engaged with my handler on walks

✅ I have the worlds best wiggly butt

I used to be super reactive to dogs but with the help of the behaviour team and my fave walker Polly I have come a really long way. I think I was just a bit scared of them and frustrated… I have now been on two walks with dogs and have had some off lead time in the garden too. I can still bark at them sometimes , especially if they bark at me first or stare but I’m a good boy and you can use my pattern games to easily stop me from barking. Once introduced slowly I get on with dogs quite well and drumroll please…. I CAN NOW LIVE WITH DOGS!!

I’m such a lovely lad , I’m very affectionate and like to sit in your lap for cuddles . I absolutely love enrichment (especially a destruction box ) and would love to go to training classes as I love to learn new things! I could potentially live with children 14+ too , but I’d like a feline free home please!
