Maple is a gorgeous Lab x Poodle x Patterdale Terrier mix, approximately 9–10 months old, and she’s bursting with life. This girl is full of beans – for Maple, everything in life is a game and she approaches each day with caution and likes to investigate her surroundings on first meets, just to settle and find the fun.
She is still very puppyish and does use her teeth when playing, so unfortunately she wouldn’t be suitable for a home with children. Maple is made up of three working breeds, so she’s clever, busy and full of energy. She needs a committed adult home that will appreciate her cuteness and her cheeky personality, and is ready to put time into training, structure and enrichment.
Maple could really benefit from living with another confident, playful dog who can match her energy and help her learn appropriate behaviours. She will bring a lot of laughter to the right home, but she will also need consistency, patience and understanding.
She came to us from another kennel environment after several unsuccessful rehoming attempts and time spent in foster care. Maple has sadly missed out on some early learning, so it’s really important we get this right for her now and ensure she is not failed again ❤️
Maple needs:
A committed adult-only home
Someone home most of the time
Plenty of mental and physical stimulation
Ongoing training and guidance
Ideally another dog to play with
If you’re ready for the commitment and are looking for a fun, lively companion who will keep you smiling, Maple could be the one.
Maple will also need regular grooming at a salon to maintain her beautiful coat.
She can resource guard from other dogs so will an established resident who will not bother her when with toys or food.
This will have to managed until she can learn how to share nicely.

If your application is successful you will be invited to meet Maple. If you do not hear anything within 7 days please assume that your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion. Due to the high volume of applications we receive we are unable to respond to everyone.
