Jelly-ibean
Jelly-bean is a 14 year old husky girl who arrived in our care as a stray. She has settled in lovely, making friends with volunteers and her new carers.
She is an independent lady who likes to take the lead.
She has good lead manners and will happily sing the song of her people along the way. She loves to explore and takes everything in her stride.
Jelly-bean had her medical examination and it was found that she has a degenerative disease in her eyes.
The good news is she is not any pain and can live a happy life. Her vision is limited but she uses her other senses well enough to get along fine.
She is a playful girl and has no problems catching a ball (on her terms obviously).
Jelly-bean will require daily grooming of her coat to avoid matting and build up.
We would like jelly-bean to live in home where the humans have knowledge of the northern breed.
Jelly-bean could potentially live with other neutered dogs of similar size and calm nature.
We feel she would be best suited to a home with children age 16+ due to her vision and age. A busy noisy home would be to much for her.
Jelly-bean doesn’t deserve to be homeless her in her golden years of life, she deserves love and home comforts.
