Please welcome to the hotel, Faith and Violet, our newest dynamic Pug duo who arrived in our care as strays however, they are now ready to find their forever home as a pair. The girls are bonded and it would not be fair to separate them.
On arrival, they were in awful condition, extremely smelly and urine stained. They had clearly been neglected and have most likely been kept in confinement and disregarded.
Since being in our care, they have taken kennel life in their stride and are a complete whirlwind together.
They are extremely sociable and enjoy nothing more than affection and attention from their carers.
They have started to go out on walks with their new volunteer friends and have been known to be quite excitable and prone to tangling around eachother if not kept under control however, they love it and have an absolute blast nonetheless.
Sadly, it’s clear that they’ve not been exposed to or taught very much in their short lives therefore, they would be best suited to a home with semi active people who have good knowledge or Pug experience.
Their owners will need to be patient and committed to enrolling them onto training classes to help teach them the fundamentals they most likely have missed out on to set them up for success.
Their owners will also need to be committed to their daily maintenance and upkeep to ensure that they are kept happy and healthy.
Faith and Violet could possibly live with sensible children, neutered resident dogs and dog savvy cats. This will all be based on controlled introductions done here at the centre.
