Cruffin
Small Staffy/Bully mix
Approximately 2 years old
Cruffin was sadly abandoned at a property and left to fend for herself. When she first arrived with us, she was understandably very scared and unsure of the world around her.
We gave her the time and space she needed to feel safe, allowing her to make friends at her own pace. Fast forward a few days and we’ve started to see her sweet, silly personality shining through. Once you’re part of her trusted circle, Cruffin has so much love to give. She’ll snuggle in close for cuddles and makes the most adorable happy Staffy noises — it’s impossible not to smile around her.
Cruffin has begun heading out on walks with staff and volunteers and is growing in confidence every day. We use lots of sniff games to help her stay focused and relaxed, especially around louder traffic. Considering everything she’s been through, her lead manners are lovely. She walks politely, passes dogs calmly, and shows gentle curiosity about the world.
Cruffin will need a calm, loving home where she’s given time to adjust. Patience and understanding are key — she must be allowed to settle at her own pace and have her space respected as she continues to blossom.
A home with older children (10+) may be considered, depending on the pace of the home and the nature of the children.
Cruffin could potentially live with other neutered, calm dogs, and possibly dog-savvy cats, subject to introductions.
She would truly benefit from ongoing training classes to continue building her confidence and strengthening the bond with her new family.
Cruffin is a sensitive soul with so much love waiting to give — she just needs the right home to help her feel safe enough to share it.
