Welcome Tank to our hotel
Tank is a mature gentleman who we think is a Bulldog/staffie mix who is certainly no couch potato! This lad has the energy of a rechargeable battery — he just keeps on going. Tank is completely ball mad and will happily play for hours, proudly carrying his football around wherever he goes.
Tank arrived in our care as his previous owners were sadly unable to keep him. Despite the change, he absolutely loves life and is one of the happiest boys you could meet.
He can sometimes become a little overwhelmed with excitement and currently goes through a humping phase when situations feel a bit too stimulating. This has been his way of coping when he gets overexcited. Tank has recently been neutered and he is already making great progress in learning to move past this behaviour and continue calmly on his walks.
Tank is so enthusiastic about his adventures that he can be strong on the lead. The good news is that he is very food motivated, which is helping a lot with his lead training and focus.
One of Tank’s favourite places is the garden. He loves having space to potter around, chase his football and enjoy a good play session before having a wander and taking everything in.
Tank will need a home with fun, active and positive humans who enjoy getting out and about. His new family should be willing to continue helping him learn new skills so he can grow into the very best boy he can be.
Because of his strength and enthusiasm, Tank will need committed owners who are happy to continue his training and provide plenty of love, structure and enrichment — along with an unlimited supply of footballs and toys!
At this time we feel Tank would be best suited to an adult-only home with bull-breed-savvy owners. He may be able to live with a calm female canine companion following successful introductions, and potentially dog-savvy cats.
Tank is a fun-loving, energetic boy who will bring plenty of laughter, play and adventure to the right home.
