Roxy is a young Bully girl who is full of life and energy. She arrived in our care as a stray and, sadly, was never claimed—she is now looking for a loving home where she can finally feel safe and settled.
Roxy is a sweet and affectionate girl who enjoys cuddles and benefits from a calm, predictable routine. She can sometimes feel a little sensitive in new surroundings, but she is growing in confidence every day and learning that the world isn’t such a scary place.
She walks nicely on the lead and enjoys her daily adventures. Roxy already knows basic commands and demonstrates excellent lead manners, including waiting safely at curbs. Occasionally, she may bark at other dogs in the distance if she feels a little overwhelmed, but she is learning to focus on her handler and is already making good progress.
Roxy makes the cutest little noises when she’s looking for affection, which always brings a smile. She also loves to have a good zoom around the garden, letting off energy in a secure, enclosed space.
She is food motivated, which helps with training, and she thrives on companionship—so she would be best suited to a home where someone is around most of the time, giving her company while snoozing nearby.
Roxy would potentially live with dog-savvy, respectful, and calm children, and she would really benefit from attending positive training classes with her new family to help build her confidence and continue the great progress she is already showing.
This lovely girl is looking for a home full of love, patience, and kindness, where she can continue to grow into the happy, confident dog she is meant to be.
