Meet Molko
Molko is an approximately 8 year old Yorkshire Terrier who arrived in our care as a stray. When she first came to us, she was heavily matted, shut down and suffering from mastitis. Following veterinary treatment and lots of care, she has responded well and is gaining confidence day by day.
Since arriving, Molko has enjoyed a much needed groom and is now feeling fresh, comfortable and ready to begin the next chapter of her life.
It is clear that Molko has had a difficult past and was likely used for breeding. She can be worried around other dogs and is looking for a child and pet free home where she can relax, settle and adjust at her own pace. She is currently working on her canine social skills, but for now her focus is on building confidence.
Molko is looking for calm, patient adopters who can give her the time she needs to get to know new people and experiences. Her perfect day would involve pottering around the garden, curling up in a comfy bed and enjoying gentle walks with her favourite people.
Once out walking, Molko walks well and enjoys exploring quieter areas. She can be worried by loud noises and dogs in the distance, but with continued support, confidence building and socialisation, she is already making good progress.
In time, we hope Molko will gain some canine friends to share adventures with, but for now she is focusing on herself first.
Molko is a sweet little lady who deserves the chance to experience life as a much loved companion. With patience, understanding and kindness, she will continue to flourish in her forever home.
Molko spent a few house at her walkers home, exploring the garden and playing.
