Ted

Meet our young boy Ted, a Dachshund cross who has sadly been signed over to our care as his previous owners were unable to meet his needs. He is a shy little lad who is now settling in well and beginning to find his paws in a new environment.
Ted is starting to come out of his shell and is making friends, slowly learning to enjoy life again at his own pace. He is gaining confidence every day and is beginning to enjoy gentle exploration and sniffing, which helps him relax.
He is walking better on the lead and is becoming more comfortable as he discovers the world around him. Ted will need time and patience to adjust to new environments and sounds, as these can still be overwhelming for him.
Once comfortable, Ted enjoys fuss and affection and is starting to show his loving nature. He will need a quiet home with patient humans who understand the Dachshund breed and can give him the time he needs to build trust and confidence.
Ted could potentially live with other neutered dogs and cats, depending on successful introductions. He would benefit from positive reward based training classes to help build bonds, confidence and routine in his new home.
With gentle guidance and understanding, Ted has the potential to blossom into a wonderful and devoted companion.
