Monica
Say hello to our fluffy little friend, Monica the pomsky! Monica was brought into our care as a stray and is slowly learning that people aren’t so scary, she is now looking for her forever home that she can settle into and learn to trust again.
When Monica first arrived she was very shut down and would sit in the corner of her kennel trembling. The staff took the time to sit with her and talk to her to get her used to them and slowly but surely she started to come around. Monica would creep up and lean in for some fusses and over time would be rather demanding about it too! She had started to trust us and show her lovely personality.
Monica has the sweetest nature and is learning that life can be fun. She is enjoying going on walks with our volunteers and likes to take her time sniffing to gather all the information she can! She is slowly making friends, with the help of a few bits of chicken and some walkies and her fun and playful nature is showing through. She loves a fuss from her trusted friends and will do anything for a yummy treat.
Monica is looking for a quiet family home to help her decompress and show her the ropes . She could potentially live with calm children who are used to dogs , other dogs and cats , depending on intros done at the centre.
