Hello, I'm Archie

Please welcome to the hotel our newest resident, beautiful blue eyed Archie an aproxinately 3 year old Pomsky (Pomeranian x Husky) who arrived in our care as a stray however, transpired his original owners no longer wanted him back.

As sad as this is, Archie has fortunately found himself with us and it’s now our mission to find him his forever home with people who will love him unconditionally and will never fail him ever again.

On arrival poor Archie was understandably overwhelmed by his new environment and carers however, with some time and gentle reassurance, he is fast coming around and settling in.

Archie has been venturing out on nice long walks and has fast become a favourite amongst his new volunteer friends. Meeting new people and going on adventures has really helped him come out of his shell and we can start to see his true, sweet personality shine through.

Archie would be best suited to an active home with people who have good knowledge or breed experience who will allow him to adjust and come around in his own time.

He is currently a little bit overweight therefore, his diet and exercise is being carefully managed and monitored. His new owners will need to be aware of this and be prepared to continue his regime and help him along on his weight loss journey.

Due to his breed, his new owners will also need to be committed to his daily grooming and general maintenance to ensure that he is kept happy and healthy.

Archie would benefit from being taught some fun confidence building training or activities to further strengthen his bond and this will also provide stimulation and breed fulfillment.

He could potentially live with another neutered resident dog, sensible children who will respect his space and dog savvy cats. This will all be based on controlled introductions done here at the centre.
