Meet one of our newest residents, Ronald!
We believe Ron is a corgi x who is around 6 years old.
He is an unclaimed stray who arrived in a terrible state and needed an emergency urethrostomy.
He has been recovering from his surgery with his foster parents and has received the utmost love and care. Ron’s surgery means he needs a little extra care after going to the toilet to reduce the risk of UTI’s. His new owners will need to be understanding of this and will need to be mindful of any potential vet treatment needed if this occurs.
Ron has a very quirky, loving personality once he knows you but can be grumpy upon first meets, he will take time to learn to love and trust you but once he does the love is never ending! He is fantastic on the lead and will walk for miles but is cautious of other dogs and strangers approaching. Ron was very nervous when he first arrived and he is slowly building his confidence around new people. Once he builds trust, he loves nothing more than fuss. His new owners will need to be understanding of this upon first meeting him and committed to multiple meets. As Ron can be frightened of the big wide world, he has started wearing a muzzle to help him feel safe.
Ron’s owners would need to be present the majority of the time to help build his confidence in the outside world. Ron appreciates a quiet and calm environment.
If your application is successful you will be invited to meet Ronald. If you do not hear anything within 7 days please assume that your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion. Due to the high volume of applications we receive we are unable to respond to everyone.
