Meet one of our newest residents, Ronald!
We believe Ron is a corgi x who is around 6 years old.
He is an unclaimed stray who arrived in a terrible state and needed an emergency urethrostomy.
He has been recovering from his surgery with his foster parents and has received the utmost love and care. Ron’s surgery means he needs a little extra care after going to the toilet to reduce the risk of UTI’s. His new owners will need to be understanding of this and will need to be mindful of any potential veterinary costs associated with this risk.
Now Ron is over the most intense part of his recovery, you can see how much he loves to be around his people. He is thriving in his foster home and has begun showing off his quirky personality. He is fantastic on the lead but is cautious of other dogs and strangers. Ron was very nervous when he first arrived and he is slowly building his confidence around new people. Once he builds trust, he loves nothing more than fuss. His new owners will need to be understanding of this upon first meeting him.
Ron would thrive as an only dog in the home and his owners would need to be present the majority of the time to help build his confidence in the outside world. Ron appreciates a quiet and calm environment. Ron will continue to be closely monitored and we are optimistic he will be able to go to his forever home from the beginning of April.
If your application is successful you will be invited to meet Ronald. If you do not hear anything within 7 days please assume that your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion. Due to the high volume of applications we receive we are unable to respond to everyone.
