Elvis and Priscilla

Please welcome to the hotel, Elvis and Pricilla, two 5 month old Staffy cross pups who were brought into our care after being found abandoned by their previous owner.

On arrival, they were both understandably very scared and shut down. It’s clear that their previous owner hasn’t invested much into them and they’ve had little exposure to the world which is crucial for a young pups development however, they are slowly gaining trust in their new carers and are settling in to their new environment and routine.

Priscilla is the more confident of the pair and although Elvis is the larger pup, he definitley finds a lot of confidence and reassurance in her.

Both pups love to play and they are very affectionate once trust is gained.

This being the case, they would benefit from a home with someone who is home most of the time who has the time and patience to raising a young pup. They will need to be willing and committed to enrolling them onto regular puppy training classes to help teach them fundamental life skills to ensure that they grow into confident and well balanced dogs.

Humans who around most of the time will be beneficial to the pups learning.

Elvis and Priscilla would also benefit from living with an already established resident neutered dog who will be tolerant of boisterous puppy play to learn from and have as company.

They could also live with sensible children aged 10+, this is based on how much time and attention the pups require. We would also be happy to introduce resident dog savvy cats.

This will all be based on controlled introductions here at the centre.

The sooner that Elvis and Priscilla move on the final chapter of their life, the sooner they are able to start living and loving.

Elvis and Priscilla will be rehomed separately.
