Introducing our beautiful Hailey, a three year old staffy cross that arrived in our care as a fake stray. On arrival Hailey was understandably very scared and unsure of her surroundings. She is a worried girl that needs a new home ASAP so that she can continue to build on her confidence and settle back in to home life. She is a massive cuddle bug once she trusts you and will whine at you for more fusses if you stop!
Hailey enjoys her walks with our volunteers and finds her confidence when she takes a canine companion along for the ride . She would love to have a confident pal at home to show her the ropes. She can find new things rather worrying but has been making great progress and gains an extra ‘pep in her step’ every day. She really loves to explore our enclosed garden and take in all the sniffs possible.
She is looking for a bull breed savvy home that are around most of the time so that they can continue to put the work in with her. She would benefit from attending training classes to work on confidence building skills and general doggie behaviour. She could potentially live with calm children , dogs and cats depending on intros done at the centre.
