Meet Pecan
Pecan is a 9-year-old Jack Russell who came into our care as a stray. He can be a worried little boy and takes time to adjust to new people and environments, so he will need patient and understanding adopters who are willing to go at his pace.
Pecan would really benefit from continued socialisation and confidence building to help him feel more secure in the world around him. Once he feels comfortable, his lovely personality begins to shine—he enjoys a good play, loves getting out for walks, and is keen to explore his surroundings.
He has been neutered while in our care.
Pecan is looking for a quiet, adult-only home with minimal visitors, where he can feel safe and settled. He would need to be the only pet in the home.
His new owners will need to be committed to his ongoing training, including attending training classes, and ideally have experience with nervous dogs. With the right support, Pecan has so much potential to grow in confidence and become a wonderful companion.
